Obituary: Sue Anna Hood Miles, 81, Willisburg
SUE ANNA HOOD MILES
Sue Anna Hood Miles, 81, of Mount Zion Road, Willisburg, died at 5:40 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at her home after an illness. She was born April 25, 1934, to the late Samie and Edith Mae Curtsinger Hood. She was a member of the Willisburg Church of God Of Prophecy and a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Lester Wethington; her second husband, James Patrick Miles; one daughter, Alice Marie Miles; three sisters, Mary Mae Hood, JoAnn Holt and Margaret Peters; and one brother, Ancil Hood.
Survivors include four daughters, Jenny Parkerson (Richie) of Bardstown, Angela Boblitt (Timmy) of Willisburg, Connie Spalding of Loretto and Patti Casey of Willisburg; two sons, Joe Wethington of Bloomfield and Terry Miles of Willisburg; a sister, Helen Chesser (Tolbert) of Willisburg and Charles Hood (Bona) of Chaplin; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy with the church pastor, the Rev. Keith Creech, officiating. Burial is in the Brush Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Friday at the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Boblitt, Jonathon Boblitt, Tyler Miles, Stephen Jewell, Josh Wethington and Kyle Moore.
The Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
