Obituary: Alan Baxter Graham, 74, Lexington
Alan Baxter Graham, 74, of Lexington, died Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Hospice Care Center in Lexington. He was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Bloomfield to the late Bruce and Bessie Caldwell Graham. He was a retired employee of the Department of Treasury where he was an A.T.F. agent. He was a member of the Duvall Masonic Lodge #6 in Bardstown, and a member of Bardstown Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, and five brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Jones Graham; two daughters, Renee (Jeff) Lowe of Shrewsburg, Mass., Amy (Larry) McGeehin of Sugarloaf, Pa.; two sons, Alan (Charlotte) Graham of Stafford, Va., Sean Graham of Arlington, Va.; two stepdaughters, Starr (Mark) Kidd and April Sizemore, both of Pine Knot; two brothers, James P. “Dude” (Norma) Graham of Bardstown and Dr. Jerry (Charlene) Graham of Huntsville, Ala.; six grandchildren; and seven stepgrandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield. with Candice Jackson, Hospice of the Bluegrass chaplain, officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
