Obituary: Karia Annette Crowe, 38, Bardstown
Karia Annette Crowe, 38, of Bardstown, died Saturday, April 9, 2016, at her residence. She was born Jan. 15, 1978, in Nelson County. She worked 20 years loyal service at B.J.s Restaurant. She was a member of Souls Harbor Church.
She was preceded in death by her baby, Alaya Crowe; her paternal grandmother, Mattie J. Smalley; her maternal grandfather, Joseph Phillip Crowe, Sr.; one aunt, Elizabeth Crow Knott; and one uncle, Joe Crowe Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Aria Jordan Crowe of Bardstown; her mother, Charlene Crowe of Bardstown; her father, Joe Smalley of Springfield; three sisters, Gwen Crowe and Stephanie Crowe, both of Bardstown and Stephonda Knott Cleaver of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Joseph Darnell Crowe and Jermaine Eugene Crowe, both of Bardstown; and a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral is 4 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Dave Conway officiating assisted by the Rev. Michelle Washington.
Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go towards funeral expenses.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
