Obituary: Katherine Louise Tillett, 85, Bardstown
Katherine Louise Tillett, 85, of Bardstown, died Monday, April 11, 2016, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. She was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Frankfort to the late Charles and Alta Shearer Deakins. She was a former employee of Holiday Inn in Elizabethtown, a homemaker, and a 
member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles T. Deakins and William Deakins.
She is survived by one daughter, Alta Charlene Kurtz of Radcliff; three sons, Roger C. Taylor and Cecil Tillet, both of Bardstown and John F. Tillett of Rineyville; one sister, Mary Campbell of Louisville; one brother, Paul Deakins of Louisville; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in Green Hill Cemetery in Frankfort.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Rd, is in charge of arrangements.
