Nelson Circuit Court Indictments–April 13, 2016

indictmentMonday, April 18, 2016 – The following people were indicted by a Nelson County grand jury on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. They are scheduled for arraignment Thursday, April 21, 2016, unless otherwise indicated.

16-CR-105. JOHN C. LEWIS, 29 Bardstown, trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree (4 or more grams cocaine); trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 ounces); tampering with physical evidence; promoting contraband, first-degree; excessive window tinting; persistent felony offender, first-degree.

According to the indictment, on Feb. 25, 2016, Lewis allegedly possessed more than 4 grams cocaine and less than 8 ounces of marijuana with the intent to sell or transfer it. The indictment states Lewis allegedly attempted to conceal a bag containing an unknown substance when he believed an official proceeding was pending, and that he introduced a white powdery substance into the Nelson County Jail. The indictment cites his prior felony convictions as basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $25,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-106. JAMES KENNETH KINCAID, 36, Bardstown, cultivating marijuana, five or more plants; possession of drug paraphernalia; persistent felony offender, first-degree.

According to the indictment, on Feb. 23, 2016, Kincaid allegedly cultivated five or more marijuana plants with the intent to sell or transfer them and possessed drug paraphernalia. The indictment cites Kincaid’s prior felony convictions as basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-107. BILLIE J. ALDRIDGE, 44, Bardstown, trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree (less than 2 grams methamphetamine); possession of controlled substances, third-degree (3 counts); possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; persistent felony offender, first-degree.

According to the indictment, on Jan. 7, 2016, Aldridge allegedly possessed methamphetamine with the intent to sell or transfer it. The indictment also alleges Aldridge was in possession of adipex, clonazepam, Xanax, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The indictment cites Aldridge’s prior felony convictions as basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $25,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-108. LARRY E. WILLIAMSON, aka MEECE WILLIAMSON, 65, Louisville, trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree (2 or more grams methamphetamine); possession of controlled substances, first-degree (methamphetamine); possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the indictment, on April 8, 2016, Williamson was in possession of 2 or more grams of methamphetamine with the intent to sell or transfer it while in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $100,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-109. RAY A. CALBERT, 39, Bardstown, possession of controlled substances, first-degree (cocaine).

According to the indictment, on Feb. 18, 2016, Calbert was allegedly found in possession of cocaine. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions

16-CR-110. MOLLY R. BOONE, 21, Springfield, possession of controlled substances, first-degree (methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the indictment, on March 29, 2016, Boone was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-111. BRENDON TAYLOR HIBBS, 18, Louisville, receiving stolen property; no operators license; no insurance.

According to the indictment, on March 6, 2016, Hibbs received, retained or disposed of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck belonging to another person having a value of $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-112. DARNELL MAURICE MCGEE, 28, Bardstown, assault, first-degree; robbery, first-degree; possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; wanton endangerment, first-degree (2 counts); tampering with physical evidence; possession of a defaced firearm; criminal mischief, second-degree.

According to the indictment, on April 5, 2016, McGee allegedly shot another person with a defaced 9 mm handgun and robbed him of money. McGee also allegedly fired the gun into Fisher Auto Parts, putting two people inside at risk of death or serious physical injury and causing more than $500 in damage, then hid the handgun in bushes to impair its availability. Bail was set at $100,000 cash only, plus conditions.
