Obituary: Dan ‘Dano’ Huff, 64, Bardstown
Dan “Dano” Huff, 64, of Bardstown, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, at his residence. He was born August 14, 1951, in Corbin. He was a resident of Bardstown the past 13 years.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Dan served his country for 22 years in the Army and retired as a 1st. Sgt. and served in Vietnam. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge. He was owner/operator of “Family Traditions” Karaoke. Special remembrance to adopted daughter, Kathy Hood, and the Hospice Caregivers.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Marcie Huff; his parents, Raymond Albert Huff Sr. and Myrtle Huff; and one brother, Ray Huff Jr.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Margo; two daughters, Chrystal and Stacy; one brother, Roy; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn; one grandson, Case; and many extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with Pastor Marvin Redmon officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go toward St. Jude’s.
