Man escapes serious injury when his car overturns on Woodlawn Road

Sunday, May 15, 2011, 11:30 p.m. — A 23-year-old Bardstown man suffered minor injuries when the car he was driving left Woodlawn Road and overturned in a sharp curve near American Drive just after 11 p.m. Sunday night. Nelson County EMS responded to the accident scene. The driver freed himself from the vehicle. He refused transport by Nelson County EMS. Woodlawn Road was closed for a short time while the vehicle was pulled from the ditch. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident.
