Debbie Chesser Martin, 53, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her daughter’s residence. She was born June 30, 1962, in Bardstown. She was an employee for Sisters of Charity, Nazareth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Martin; one daughter, Margaret Christina Martin; her parents, Carl and Marty Chesser; and one brother, Carl Lee Chesser Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanna (Mike Aiken) Martin and Wilemina (Mario) Carrera; three sisters, Tina Chesser of Bardstown, Kaye Curtsinger of Cox’s Creek, and Kathy Chesser of Boston; two brothers, Roy Chesser and Henry Chesser, both of Bardstown; three granddaughters, Alexis Carrera, Anyia Carrera, and Airiella Martinez, all of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. David Calvert and Tracy Mattingly officiating.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home.
