Joseph Leon Cissell Jr., 42, of Loretto, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at his home. He was born Dec. 31, 1973, in Marion County. He formerly worked as a construction estimator with Cisco Company in Lexington.

Survivors include his parents, Leon and Rose Nugent Cissell; one sister, Paula L. Mlinar (Joel) of Lexington; one brother, Jason E. Cissell (Ann) of Nicholasville; five nieces and nephews, Riley Cissell, Jacob Cissell, Nate Mlinar, Mac Mlinar and Poppy Mlinar; his special godmother, Mary C. Nugent of Lebanon; and special friends, Mike Tiller and Bret Ripley of Lexington.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick with the Rev. James W. Graf officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday at the Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
