Obituary: Richard Lee, 57, New Salisbury, Ind.
Richard Lee, 57, of New Salisbury, Ind., died Saturday, May 14, 2016, at his home. He was born April 4, 1959, in Casey County, a son of the late Tholet Franklin and Jewell Mae Harrison Lee. He was the owner/operator of RPC Automotive Parts. He was a former member of the Craftsman Masonic Lodge No. 722. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Gregory Lee.
Survivors include two sons, Dustin (Hillery) Lee of Louisville and Darren (Hannah) Lee of Bardstown; four sisters, Norma (Rex) Lockard of Jeffersonville, Ind., Ina Ellis of Dunnville, and Linda (Winfory) Evans and Leveta (Mike) Burns, both of Hustonville; six brothers, Ray (Carolyn) Lee of Bardstown, Cecil (Margie) Lee of Cincinnati, Ohio, Charles (Barbara) Lee and Lowell (Judy) Lee, both of Liberty, Leland (Carol) Lee of Columbia, and Vernon (Jewell) Lee of Dunnville; and one grandson, Colton Lee.
The funeral was Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Bro. Leslie Bentley officiating. Burial was in the Salem Cemetery.
John Reeves, John Lockard, Travis Burns, Doug and Steve Lee, and Warren Emerson served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were his nieces and nephews.
The McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty was in charge of the arrangements.
