First Cedar Creek to celebrate Memorial Day at 11 a.m. Sunday service

Thursday, May 26, 2016, 10 p.m. — The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church will celebrate Memorial Day during the 11 a.m. service, Sunday, May 29, 2016, by taking time to honor current members of the KY National Guard and Army Reserves.

These military women and men include church members Sydney Reid (KY Army Reserves) and Michael Morris (KY National Guard); former church member Sam O’Bryan (KY National Guard); and active church participant Jonathan Anthony (KY National Guard).

The Adult Choir, led by Margareth Miguel, will sing a portion of “God Bless the USA” and “While There’s Time.” Flags will be placed on veterans’ graves.

All are invited to attend this service and other activities of the church including Bible study for all age groups beginning at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday.

The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church is located five miles west of Bardstown off Boston Road (Hwy 62) on Bellwood Road (Hwy 733).
