Deanna Michelle Riggs, 26, Bardstown

Deanna Michelle Riggs, 26, of Bardstown, died Saturday May 28, 2016, at her home. She was born Nov. 1, 1989, in Louisville. She was an employee of B. J. ‘s Bar and Grill, and a was member of Bardstown Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Sandra Nalley; her paternal grandfather, Tony Riggs; and maternal great-grandmother, Laverne Case.

She is survived by her parents, Dean and Karen Riggs of Chaplin; one sister, Shelby Riggs of Chaplin; one brother, Randy Riggs of Chaplin; her boyfriend, Jason Turner of Bardstown; her maternal grandparents, Gerald and Margaret Byrd of Chaplin; a dear friend, Danielle White of Chaplin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin with Pastor David Calvert and Pastor Bill Adams officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to Humane Society of Nelson County.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
