Obituary: Joseph Daniel Lee ‘Curly’ Hall, 60, Bardstown
Joseph Daniel Lee “Curly” Hall, 60, of Bardstown, died Saturday May 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born Jan. 6, 1956, in Nelson County. He retired from St. Joseph Catholic Church and School after 50 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Omer Lee Hall; and nephew, Stephen Jeremy Peake.
He is survived by his companion of 36 years, Barbara Jean Hardin of Bardstown; his mother, Lula Greenwell Hall of Bardstown; five stepchildren, Donna Jean Thompson of Bloomfield, B. J. Hardin, David S. Litton, Taylor L. Gilbert, and Megan C. Martin, all of Bardstown; four sisters, Linda (John) Dickerson and Peggy (Billy) Coulter, both of Bardstown, Jeanette (Mike) Sidebottom of Boston, and Phyllis Hall of Bardstown; one brother, David (Gail) Hall of Bardstown; four stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10:15 p.m. Tuesday at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown.
Memorial contributions may go toward his service.
