Rapier named to Town & Country Bank’s board of directors

Wednesday, June 1, 2016, 2 p.m. — Bardstown native Nicky Rapier has been appointed to the board of directors of Town & Country Bank and Trust and First Farmers Bank Holding Co.
Rapier is a 1979 graduate of Bardstown High School and a 1983 graduate of Morehead State University where he earned a BA in accounting. He worked in his family business, Kenny’s Cleaners, during high school and college, then was hired as an internal auditor for Farmers Bank & Trust Co. (now Town & Country Bank).
Rapier currently serves as vice president of community and economic development for Salt River Electric where he has worked for nearly 30 years.
He has held leadership roles on a wide range of community boards and committees in Bardstown and Nelson County, as well as across the state.
“We are fortunate to have Nicky join the organization’s Board,” said board chairman Stephen Hamilton said in a press release. “He has achieved extraordinary success in his career, and his unique mix of experience will be a tremendous asset for our bank.”
