Obituary: Jenna Lauren Ruley, 20, Springfield
Jenna Lauren Ruley, 20, of Springfield, died Saturday, June 4, 2016, at her residence. She was born Feb. 22, 1996, in Marion County. She was a 2014 graduate of Thomas Nelson High School and a member of Bardstown Christian Fellowship and Cox’s Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Ruley; her maternal grandfather, Johnny Graves; her paternal grandmother, Imogene Ruley; her stepgrandfather, Gene Breeding; and one brother, Cory Ruley.
Survivors include her parents, Todd and Donna Graves Mattingly; her maternal grandmother, Ruby Breeding of Springfield; her paternal grandfather, James Ruley of Manton; her stepgrandparents, Raeburn and Nellie Mattingly of Rineyville; one sister, Breann Ruley, at home; one brother, Jamie Ruley (Felicia) of Loretto; one stepbrother, Joey Mattingly (Ashlee) of Baltimore, Md.; one niece, Aliyah Ruley and one nephew, Devon Mattingly.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with burial in the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery with Deacon Arnold Downs and Bro. Barry McGuffin officiating.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, at the funeral home with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
Memorials donations may go toward burial expenses and may be made at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Devon Mattingly, Ryan Newton, Bradley Graves, Casey Graves, Sabrina Newton and Stephanie Graves. Honorary pallbearers are Angel Graves, Savanna McDonald, Tiffany Sapp, Tyler Sapp and Morgan Wherry.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
