County firefighters respond for odor investigation Thursday morning

Thursday, June 9, 2016, 2 a.m. — The Nelson County Fire Department was called to a home on Hilton Lane off Stringtown Road for an odor investigation early Thursday morning. Firefighters were dispatched at 12:24 a.m. after a resident of a home in the area reported a burnt smell. Firefighters arrived on scene to investigate and determined the source of the smell was a skunk in the neighborhood.
