City firefighters called Wednesday night for West Muir Avenue vehicle fire

Thursday, June 16, 2016, 12:25 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded late Wednesday night for a vehicle on fire on West Muir Avenue behind the Nelson County Public Library. Firefighters were dispatched for a pickup truck on fire in the area at 11:29 p.m. The truck was 10 feet from a residence and near some trees and a utility pole. Fire department personnel arrived and extinguished the fire. They were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
