ALBERT LEE TINGLE

Albert Lee Tingle Jr., 83, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at his residence. He was the son of the late Albert and Mary Lee Curtsinger Tingle and was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Washington County. He was a retired employee of Armour Foods, a farmer, and a member of the Bloomfield Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Bird Tingle; one sister; and five brothers.

He is survived by his daughter, Patty Tingle of San Diego; four sons, Ron Tingle and Gerald (Kim) Tingle, both of Louisville, Phillip (Barbara) Tingle of Crestwood and Johnny (Kacky) Tingle of Bloomfield; one sister, Edna (J.W.) Sullivan of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Bloomfield Church of God with Bro. Tim VanHook officiating with burial in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
