Richard Randolph Gordon, 53, of Springfield, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. He was born June 2, 1963, in Washington County. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Jack” Gordon.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Purdy Gordon of Springfield; his mother, Mary Helen Baker Gordon of Springfield; one daughter, Emily Savannah Gordon of Springfield; one son, Ryan Neal Gordon of Springfield; two sisters, Lydia Gordon (Tony) Diamond of Lexington and Iva Gordon (Mike) Harman of Lexington; and two brothers, Neely (Valerie) Gordon of Springfield and John Gordon of Bardstown.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Dennis May.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the St. Augustine School Fund.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
