Friday, June 17, 2016, 9 a.m. — Due to the weather conditions, the City of Bardstown mosquito spraying equipment was unable to operate Thursday night as originally announced.
The spraying is scheduled for this evening, Friday, June 17 — if weather conditions permit — beginning about 9:45 p.m. until dawn.
The mosquito spraying program will continue every two weeks during the months of June, July and August. During Tuesday’s city council meeting, Mayor John Royalty said there will be no opting out of the mosquito control program.
During its fogging operation, please keep children away from the fogging vehicle. Residents should park their vehicles off the street, go inside and remain indoors while the fogging vehicle is in the neighborhood.
