City issues boil water advisory for areas in the Boston area

NC GAZETTE / WBRT RADIO
STAFF REPORT

June 20, 2016, 4 p.m. — A water main break Sunday has prompted the City of Bardstown to issue a “boil water advisory” for its customers who live on water-tapShady Lane, Keith Knob and Petersburg roads in the Boston area.

Customers may experience low or intermittent water pressure, and, therefore, drinking water should be boiled as a precautionary measure. This boil water advisory notice will be in effect for approximately 2-3 days. The City will notify customers when the advisory is lifted. If discoloration or air persists, please call City Hall at 502-348-5947, ext. 2270.
