Obituary: Brenda Darlene Howell Karwowski, 69, Bardstown

Brenda Darlene Howell Karwowski, 69, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her home in San Antonio, Texas. She was born Aug. 7, 1946 in Bardstown.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Howell Sr.; her mother, Nita Howell; and twin sister, Carlene O’Daniel Mattingly.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Karwowski Sr. of San Antonio, Texas; two sons, Rick Breeden and Mike Breeden, both of Mount Washington; one stepdaughter, Melissa Calata of San Antonio; one stepson, Joseph Karwowski Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Renee Howell Hatfield of Punta Gorda, Fla.; three brothers, Denny Howell of Bardstown, Butch Howell of Palmetto, Fla,, and Edwin Howell Jr. of LaGrange; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service is 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at the St. Joseph Cemetery with Bro. Chad Morrow officiating.
