WILLIE CATHERINE GILBERT HALE
Willie Catherine Gilbert Hale, 87, of Bardstown, died Monday, June 27, 2016, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born Dec. 17, 1928, in Bardstown to the late Walter and Cassell Stivers Gilbert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dove Hale; and one son, William Hardy Hale.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Lee Hale of Bardstown, Delores Jean Hughes of Macomb, Mich., and Jearldine Price of Jackson, Miss.; two sons, Terry Lee Hale of Louisville and Billy Dove Hale Jr. of Las Vegas; one sister, Jearldine Harris of Bardstown; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the Houghlin and Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Michael N. Smith officiating.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, is in charge of arrangements.
