Injury accident Friday night temporarily closes parts of North Third St.

Saturday, July 2, 2016, 11 p.m. — At least one person was injured Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Third Street and Flamingo Drive. At 9:36 p.m. Friday night, Nelson County EMS, Bardstown Police and Fire were dispatched for an injury accident with possible entrapment. Firefighters cleaned up spilled vehicle fluids and helped a male victim from his vehicle. The crash temporarily blocked three lanes of traffic. EMS transported the injured to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
