JAMES WILLIAM “BILL” JENNINGS

James William “Bill” Jennings, 58, of Crab Orchard, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, from injuries sustained in a car crash at the bottom of Burg Hill on Springfield Road, US150. He was a self-employed businessman and the owner of Jennings Home Center and Locker Specialties in Berea. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bob Davis; and his grandparents, Edith and Earl Hoskins and Eliza and James Jennings.

He is survived by his wife, Patti Locker Jennings; two daughters, Amanda Jennings (Rob) and Olivia Day (Matt); his mother, Margaret Davis; his father, William C. Jennings; one brother, Wyatt Jennings; eight grandchildren, Lucas Hannon, Trinity Hannon, Landon Day, Lynzie Day, Layton Day, Austin Estes, Kylie Estes, and Haley Estes; one niece, Kristi Jennings (Aaron); one nephew, Wyatt C Jennings; and one great-nephew, Payton Porter.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2016, at the Lakes Funeral Home in Berea with the Rev. Joey Kays officiating. Burial is in the the Berea Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation is 5-9 Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy make take the form of donations to the Emmanuel Baptist Church, PO Box 485, Berea, KY 40403.

Pallbearers will be Mark Jennings, Tod Jennings, Eddie Jennings, Jake Jennings, Rob Estes, and Matt Day. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Rose, Larry Chadwick, Dennis Grant, Boyd Adams and Greg Poynter.

The Lakes Funeral Home in Berea is in charge of the arrangements.
