Obituary: Terris Dewayne Trigg, 37, Bardstown

Terris Dewayne Trigg, 37, of Kurtz Street, Bardstown, died at 1:11 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born in Lebanon on Dec. 30, 1978. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Marie Trigg; and his maternal grandparents, William Henry and Mary Bell Hodgens Trigg.

Survivors include, his wife, Tabatha Ford Trigg; one daughter, India Trigg of Bardstown; one stepson, Darrian Ford of Bardstown; one sister, Leitcha Ellery (Keith) of Bardstown; his father, James A. Lyles of Pennsylvania; and four nephews, Latrell Floyd, Trayon Trigg, Keith Ellery, Jr. and Keidren Ellery.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2016, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev. Kevin McGrath officiating. Burial is in the St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield with a prayer service at 6 p.m.

Casket bearers will be Timothy Hodgens, Terry Hodgens, Lawrence Lydian, Elery Phillips, Deon Spalding and Austin Nelson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Phillips, Darrian Ford, Latrell Floyd, Trayon Trigg, Keith Ellery, Jr. and Keidren Ellery.

The Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
