Obituary: Scott Greer, 43, Bardstown

SCOTT GREER

Scott Greer, 43, of Bardstown, died Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Sturgis, Ky. He was born Sept. 16, 1972, in Bardstown.

He was an employee for Tower Automotive and a member of the Moose Lodge. He loved his Harley-Davidson, and he was a big time drag racer with numerous wins at Ohio Valley Dragway in his 1074 Mazda.

He is survived by one son, Tyler Greer; his father, Ron Greer of Bardstown; his mother, Mary Jean Lyvers of Bardstown; one brother, Chad (Cindy) Greer of Bardstown; three nieces, Kaylee, Hannah, and Adalyn Greer, all of Bardstown; one nephew, Braden Greer of Bardstown; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at the Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with Dr. James Carroll officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
