Obituary: Patricia Lynn Metcalf, 47, New Haven
Patricia Lynn Metcalf, 47, of New Haven, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at her residence. She was born Oct. 1, 1968, in Nelson County. She formerly worked as an LPN at the office of Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick in Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jesse Ray Basil; her mother, Theresa Catherine Metcalf; one sister, Eugenia Ann McClease; and one nephew, Jeffrey McClease.
Survivors include her father, John S. Metcalf of New Haven, one daughter, Lacy Hutchins (William Shaffer) of Bardstown; one sister, Angelia Gale Cecil of New Haven; one brother, John S. “Little John” Metcalf, Jr. (Amanda) of Loretto; five grandchildren, Gavin Robertson, Connor Shaffer, Mckenzie Shaffer, Winter Rae Basil and Bobby Lee Basil; six nieces, Natasha Taylor, Miranda Metcalf, Kloe Metcalf, Anna Cecil, Rebecca Cecil and Haleigh Taylor; five nephews, John Tyler Metcalf, Ricky Cecil Jr., Bob Logsden, Jarred Simpson and Ethyn Bartley.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bryan Lamberson will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a 7 p.m. prayer service with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Memorials donations may go toward burial expenses and may be made at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Miranda Metcalf, Ricky Cecil Jr., Jarred Simpson, Paul Hutchins, William Shaffer and Lawrence “Popcorn” Lydian Jr.. Honorary pallbearer will be Gavin Robertson.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
