One injured early Thursday after possible meth lab explosion on North Ann Dr.

Thursday, July 21, 2016, 3 a.m. (Corrected 8:15 a.m.) — A woman was injured early Thursday morning after a shed that may have contained a meth lab exploded behind a emslogoresidence on North Ann Drive. A resident in the area reported hearing an explosion and seeing someone laying on the ground outside a burning storage shed. Nelson County EMS, Bardstown Fire and Bardstown Police were dispatched to the scene at about 2 a.m. Police arrived on the scene first and found an injured woman on the ground outside the shed. The shed was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Firefighters worked to keep the fire from spreading to other nearby structures. EMS transported the woman to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Firefighters were on the scene until 3:20 a.m. Bardstown Police are investigating the incident.
