Sunday, July 21, 2016, 9 a.m. – Nelson Fiscal Court met Tuesday, July 5, 2016, and discussed the E-911 interlocal agreement; heard updates on repairs to Green Chapel Road; approved changes to the county’s alcohol beverage control ordinance; approved changes to streamline the Development Review process; approved two state Homeland Security grant applications; approved paving requests and appointed Nolin Boone to the joint city-county planning commission. Nelson County Deputy Sheriff Levi Preston was also  honored for rescuing a woman from her burning vehicle.
