Obituary: Joy Bowman, 61, Bardstown

Joy Bowman, 61, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Norton Hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1955, in Bardstown and was a former employee of American Greetings.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Wigginton; one sister, Gail Wigginton White; and one brother, Peyton Wigginton.

She is survived by her son, Tim Bowman of Bardstown; her mother, Dorothy Wigginton of Bardstown; and one uncle, Tom Love of Bloomfield.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Garden in Mount Washington with Youth Minister Aaron Benfield officiating.

Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
