Sunday, July 24, 2016, 10 a.m. – The Bardstown Board of Education met Tuesday, July 19, 2016. The board approved making the former alternative school site — the former Cox’s Creek Elementary School building on Old Louisville Road — surplus property. The board will decided how to dispose of the property once state approvals are obtained. The board also approved salary schedules, extra service schedules and substitute teacher pay for the 2016-17 school year, and created an additional an additional Supervisor of Public Instruction position.
