Sunday, July 24, 2016, 10 a.m. – The Nelson County Board of Education met Tuesday, July 19, 2016. The board approved instructional fees for the next school year; approved a request to participate in an energy savings grant program; agreed to participate in a multi-district effort to hire an energy manager whose services would be shared among districts; approved an agreement to provide the local Head Start program with special education services.
