Sunday, July 24, 2016, 10 a.m. – The Bardstown City Council met Tuesday, July 26, 2016 and voted down a proposal that would have allowed distilled spirits warehouses on tracts as a conditional use on tracts 20 to 100 acres in size. The council approved certificate of appropriateness recommendations from the Historic Review Board; approved the 2016-17 budget from the Bardstown-Nelson County Human Rights Commission; and  heard a report on City Attorney Tim Butler’s progress on a draft agreement governing the city’s participation in the joint E-911 dispatch center.
