Rick Molyneaux is 15th candidate seeking a Bardstown City Council seat

Thursday, July 28, 2016 — Bardstown realtor Rick Molyneaux is the 15th person to throw his hat in the ring for one of the six seats on the Bardstown City Council.
Molyneaux, 64, a resident of Yorkshire Drive, filed his candidacy paperwork at the Nelson County Clerk’s Office on Wednesday afternoon. Molyneaux current serves as a member of the Bardstown Board of Adjustments.
Molyneaux’s filing makes a total of 15 candidates who are seeking a seat on the council in the Nov. 8, 2016 election.
The other 14 candidates who have filed include:
Bill Buckman (incumbent);
Freddy Riggs;
Kecia Copeland (incumbent);
Francis Lydian (incumbent);
Roland “Coach Roe” Williams (incumbent);
former Mayor Bill Sheckles;
former Mayor Dick Heaton;
former County Attorney John Kelley;
Richard Nest;
Franklin Thompson;
David C. Dones;
David Erickson;
Sean Ralston;
Michael Johnson.
The deadline to file for the non-partisan local offices on the November ballot is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9.
