Obituary: Charles Edward ‘Buddy’ Milburn, 74, Bloomfield
Charles Edward “Buddy” Milburn, 74, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was the son of the late Estil and Evelyn Burkhead Milburn and was born May 15, 1942, in Washington County. He was a former employee of American Greetings. He was a farmer who loved tractor pulling and was a partner in P & M Pulling Team, and was a member of Wakefield Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Edward Freibert.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin (Dwayne “Ozzy”) Osborne of Bloomfield and Kellie (Lynn) Burns of Chaplin; two sons, Joey (Jenny) Milburn of Bloomfield and Tony (Tracy) Milburn of Cox’s Creek; two sisters, Ann Jackson of Bloomfield and Helen Yates of Cox’s Creek; three brothers, Jimmy (Ruthie) Milburn, Darrell (Marilyn) Milburn and Phillip (Nancy) Milburn, all of Chaplin; and six grandchildren, Ryan Osborne, Cassidy Jo Osborne, Scarlett Burns, Justin Milburn, Sarah Milburn, and Kelsey Milburn.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Doug Simpson and Bro. Mike Thompson officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
