Denny Howard files for a seat on the Bloomfield City Council

Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, 11 p.m. — Denny Howard filed Monday for a seat on the Bloomfield City Council.

Howard, 84, of Chaplin Road in Bloomfield, has previously served as a Bloomfield city councilman. All six seats on the Bloomfield City Council will be on the November ballot.

The deadline to file for the non-partisan local offices on the November ballot — city council, city commission, soil conservation district and city and county school boards —  is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9.
