Lee Grisby Evans is 16th candidate to file for Bardstown City Council

Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, 5 p.m. — Lee Grigsby Evans has filed as a candidate for Bardstown City Council.
Evans, 73, is a resident of East Stephen Foster Ave. She has performed the past several seasons with the Stephen Foster Story, portraying Stephen Foster’s mother.
With the withdrawal of Michael Johnson as a candidate for the council, Evans is the 16th candidate to file for a council seat on the Nov. 8, 2016 election.

Michael Johnson (withdrawn).
The deadline to file for the non-partisan local offices on the November ballot is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9.
