Obituary: Elizabeth Ann ‘Betty’ Yates Clements, 78, Springfield

Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Yates Clements, 78, of West Virginia Ave., Springfield, died at 9:12 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at Norton Hosparus in Louisville.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Clements; three daughters, Lisa Shewmaker of Mackville, Sherry Clements of Springfield and Toni Edlin of Hodgenville; two sons, Mike Clements of Floyds Knobs, Ind. and and Larry Clements of Springfield; four sisters, Wanda Osborne and Marilyn Schuler, both of Springfield, and Judy Mattingly and Glenda Jackson, both of Bardstown; three brothers, Joe Yates of Springfield, Donnie Yates of Campbellsville and Richie Yates of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, and 7-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of the arrangements.
