Obituary: Jonathan Edward ‘John’ Hutchins, 37, Bardstown
Jonathan Edward “John” Hutchins, 37, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at his residence. He was born Feb. 7, 1979, in Bardstown to Joseph Edward and Judy Watson Hutchins. He was an employee of Barton Brands, and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnny Watson; his paternal grandparents, Richard and Flossie Hutchins; and an uncle, Danny Hutchins.
He is survived by his wife, Kristy Hayden Hutchins; his parents, Eddie and Judy Watson Hutchins of New Haven; one sister, Chasity (David) Kemper of LaGrange; one brother, James Hunter Hutchins of New Haven; his stepgrandfather and maternal grandmother, Bobby and Helen Jo Tingle of Bardstown; one niece; one nephew; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The memorial service is 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Burial is in the St. Thomas Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8:30 Thursday at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road.
The family requests expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bloomfield Baptist Church Building Fund, or the American Cancer Society.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
