EMS, police, fire respond after individual loses consciousness while driving

Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, 11 p.m. — Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Police and Fire were sent Tuesday evening to the intersection of West John Rowan Boulevard and North Third Street after the driver of a Saturn passenger car apparently lost consciousness while driving. First-responders were dispatched to the area at about 5:35 p.m. After the vehicle’s doors were unlocked, EMS transported the 61-year-old driver to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
