Bardstown man arrested by KSP on child pornography charges

Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, 5 p.m. — Kentucky State Police troopers and investigators from the KSP’s Electronic Crimes Branch arrested a Nelson County man Tuesday on child pornography charges.
Joseph Bradley Smith, 53, of Bardstown was arrested on 20 counts of possession or viewing matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance and lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
The charge is a Class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.
