DONALD JERRY NALLEY
Donald Jerry Nalley, 73, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville. He was born May 18, 1943, in Bardstown to the late Joseph Nicholas and Bertha Mae Smith Nalley. He was a retired employee of Heaven Hill Distillery and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann Cox Nalley; one sister, Ginny Cahoe; and one brother, Jack Nalley.
He is survived by five sisters, Libby (Hubert) Nalley and Carolyn (David) Lyvers, both of Bardstown, Margaret Montgomery of Leitchfield, Marilyn (Harold) Hutchins of Culvertown and Agnes (Pat) Morris of Balltown; three brothers, James Nalley of Culvertown, and Fred Nalley and Carl (Barbara) Nalley, both of Bardstown; a special niece, Taylor Cahoe; and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, is in charge of arrangements.
