SR. VERONICA MARIE SCHNEIDER
Sr. Veronica Marie Schneider, SL, formerly known as Sister Thomas Mary, 91, of Nerinx, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary. She was born Dec. 3, 1925, in Los Angeles to the late George Francis and Wilhelmina Reis Schneider. She entered religious life in 1943 and received her final vows Aug. 15, 1949. She attended A.B. Loretto Heights College in Denver, majoring in education. Her assignments were in Colorado, California, Texas, New Mexico and Missouri. She retired to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2002.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx, with burial in the Motherhouse Cemetery.
The wake service is 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Motherhouse.
The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
