Obituary: Mona Lisa Coyle, 60, Bardstown
Mona Lisa Coyle, 60, of Bardstown, formerly of Springfield, died at 1:20 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at the Kindred Rolling Hills Health Care in New Albany, Ind. She was born in Lebanon on Dec. 13, 1955, to William Coleman “Billy” and Mary Kidwell Mayes. She was a member of the Springfield Presbyterian Church, a 1973 graduate of Washington County High School and a retired secretary for the Springfield Housing Authority.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Coleman “Billy” Mayes on Aug. 2, 1994.
Survivors include, her husband, Terry Coyle; one daughter, Brittany Barlow (Josh) of Bardstown; two sons, Jeremy Coyle (Amber) of Louisville and Bradley Coyle (Abby) of Campbellsville; her mother, Mary Mayes of Lebanon; two sisters, Phyllis Wells of Corydon, Ind. and Janes Ellen Reams (Kirby) of Springfield; two brothers, Bruce Wells of Shelbyville and Isaiah Mayes (Angie) of Bowling Green; and five grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at the Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Stevens officiating. Burial is in Cemetery Hill in Springfield.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Coyle, Josh Barlow, Bruce Wells, Isaiah Mayes, Kirby Reams, David Coyle and Billy Hilton. Honorary pallbearers are Brittany Coyle, Bradley Coyle, Abby Coyle, Amber Coyle, Phyllis Wells, Ruth Ann Coyle, Rosaland Hilton, Anna Mae Coyle and Dalton Coyle.
Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
