Obituary: Dorothy Lee Shelly, 86, Lebanon Junction

Dorothy Lee Shelly, 86, of Lebanon Junction, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at her home. She was a volunteer with the Senior Citizen’s Group in Shepherdsville and a member of Faith Baptist Bible Church in Lebanon Junction.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence M. Shelly; her parents and three brothers, Mervin Hendricks, Charlie Hendricks and Paul Hendricks.

Survivors include two daughters, Dottie Watson and Helen Pound; her son, Don Shelly; one brother, Jimmy Hendricks; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

There will be a private burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
