TYLER LEWIS KAYS

Tyler Lewis Kays, 24, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016. He was born Dec. 18, 1991, in Louisville. He was an employee for Bluegrass Chain and Supply and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmo and Mary Irene Kays.

He is survived by his mother, Theresa (Tony Tucker) Reed of Bardstown; his father, Roger Dale (Jeannie) Kays of Bardstown; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Linda Reed of Bardstown; one stepsister, Lakiyn Osborne of Bardstown; and one stepbrother, Joshua Rogers of Bardstown.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Matthew Hardesty officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, and 9-10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may go to Masses at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
