Local radio club meeting set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at NCEMS Station 1

Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016 — The second monthly meeting of the Kentucky Amateur Radio Society is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016 at Nelson County EMS Station 1 on Atkinson Hill Avenue.

KARS’ September 2016 meetings are set for 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28.

The topics for these meetings will include upcoming hamfests, and planning for KARS operation of the Bourbon Festival special event station, K4B.

Bardstown area HAMS wishing to participate in K4B operations are encouraged to attend the Monday, Sept. 12 meeting to coordinate special event activities and to sign up for times, bands and modes to operate K4B. You do not have to be a KARS member to participate.
