Obituary: Terry Wayne Fulkerson, 56, Bardstown

TERRY WAYNE FULKERSON

Terry Wayne Fulkerson, 56, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016 in Bardstown. He was born March 11, 1960, in Cox’s Creek to Mason Fulkerson and Rose Newton. He was a former construction worker for Buzick Construction, an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of Cox’s Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mason Fulkerson; one sister, Dianne Clark; and two brothers, Dale Fulkerson and Johnny Fulkerson.

He is survived by two daughters, Tia Fulkerson of Bloomfield and Kristy Fulkerson of Hodgenville; his mother, Rose Newton Mattingly of Bardstown; seven sisters, Joyce (Rock) Rakowitz of Houston, Patti (Ronnie) Berry of Loretto, Norma Cole of Elizabethtown and Susanne Janes, Sandy (J.R.) Stone, Donna (Carl) Lewis, and Janie Metcalf all of Bardstown; two brothers, Larry Fulkerson and Kenneth Mattingly, both of Bardstown; three grandchildren; and a special friend, Gail Robertson.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road.

The family requests expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions in his memory for funeral expenses.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
