Obituary: Shelly Parrott Arnold, 58, Bardstown

SHELLY PARROT ARNOLD

Shelly Parrott Arnold, 58, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born Nov. 16, 1957, in Bardstown. She was an employee for American Greetings and a graduate of Nelson County High School. She attended Western Kentucky University. She was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and a faithful member of Teamsters Local 89 in Bardstown.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Currens “June” Parrott; and her father-in-law, C.W. “Pops” Arnold.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Arnold of Bardstown; one daughter, April M. Arnold of Shepherdsville; one son, Jesse L. Howard of Shepherdsville; her father and stepmother, John N. Parrott and Juanita Collins Parrott of Bardstown; her mother-in-law, Marie Arnold of Bardstown; and two grandchildren, Clayton Arnold and BrooklynArabella Arnold.

Her memorial service is 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to Teamsters Local Union 89.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
